Carolyn’s stories have appeared in the popular God Allows U-turns Series, Cup of Comfort Series, Guideposts magazine and other publications. Her passion, however, is protecting children from childhood sexual abuse. At the age of four, a hired field-hand attempted to molest her. Miraculously, she got away and told her father. Everything. She has spent the past ten years championing this issue and has received training certificates from some of the leading organizations dedicated to protecting children. RISE AND SHINE: A TOOL FOR THE PREVENTION OF CHILDHOOD SEXUAL ABUSE is her first children’s book. A mother of seven (yes, seven), her life has been enriched through adoption and foster care.
