MaryAnn DiorioDr. MaryAnn Diorio is a widely published, award-winning author of books for children and adults. Her passion is writing fiction.

Her latest children’s book, The Dandelion Patch, was released in 2017 and deals with the topic of Eminent Domain. Her latest novel, A Sicilian Farewell, was released in 2016 and is Book 2 of the popular trilogy titled The Italian Chronicles. Book 1, The Madonna of Pisano, won the prestigious Silver Medal for E-Book Fiction in the 2015 Illumination Book Awards Contest. Book 3, Return to Bella Terra, is scheduled for release in December 2017.

A former Adjunct Professor of Writing at Nottingham-Trent University, Rowan University, and Regent University, MaryAnn is also a Certified Life Coach, a Certified Biblical Counselor, and a Certified Behavioral Consultant. She holds several graduate degrees, including the PhD in French, the DMin in Christian Counseling, the MA in Italian Language & Literature, and the MFA in Writing Popular Fiction.

MaryAnn has been married to Dominic for 47 years. They are the blessed parents of two amazing adult daughters and five rambunctious grandchildren. When not writing, MaryAnn loves to read, paint, play the piano, and make up silly songs with her grandchildren.
