Christmas Service Project Round-up
There is no better time than Christmas to involve your little ones in acts of kindness and service. Here are a few ideas to get you started!
- Ring a bell for the Salvation Army. No need to sign up with a group or organization, this activity is perfect for your whole family. Simply go here to find a location near you to volunteer.
- Sing carols at an assisted living facility nearby.
- Bake some Christmas cookies for your librarians, crossing guards or mailperson. Try some of these ‘kid-friendly’ recipes.
- Deliver a festive poinsettia to an elderly neighbor
- Donate mittens, hats, scarves or gloves to a local women’s shelter
- Make one of these angels using a coffee filter, pipe cleaner and a wooden bead to give to a friend
During this Christmas season, let us always remember that it is our hands and our feet that are here to do His work!
