Crystal Bowman is an award-winning, bestselling author of more than 100 books for children and families. She has been writing for more than 30 years and has been published by more than a dozen traditional publishing houses. Her books have been translated into more than a dozen languages and she loves that her books can reach children everywhere with the message of God’s love. “I can’t travel all over the world,” she says, “but my books can. I can’t speak other languages, but my books do.”
Crystal is a children’s editor with Reedsy and also provides her own freelance editing service to help aspiring writers reach their publishing dreams. “I get so excited to see the writers I work with publish their books. It’s such a joy to celebrate with them!”
Besides writing books, she also writes lyrics for children’s piano music and stories for Clubhouse Jr. Magazine.
When she is not writing or editing, she enjoys walking in her tropical neighborhood, walks on the beach, and coloring with colored pencils in relaxing adult coloring books. She and her husband have three married children and eight huggable grandchildren who are growing up way too fast.
