We all need to feel loved, and we all need to be hugged. “A Bug Who Needs A Hug” is a very simple, but yet easy book for children to understand. The word “hug” means to – cling firmly or fondly to; or cherish. So, in this book is a small, little, lonely bug who just wants someone to give him a hug. He walks through the forest and sees different animals and the bug would ask, “Will you give me a hug?” Most of the animals turned and went the other way until he saw a lonely rabbit with tears in his eyes, and the little bug asked the rabbit, “Will you give me a hug?” The rabbit had a big smile on his face and was very happy to give the little bug a hug.
The illustrations done by Anna and Nicole are simply done, but yet very charming. Any toddler would love to see these pictures and have this story read to them.
Go tell someone you love them, and give them a hug today!
