A Quick and Easy Recipe for the Kids to Enjoy This Winter.
January can be a bit dreary especially for children. There are not many vacation days scheduled from school until spring break and January can be anti-climatic after the holiday rush. Here is a quick and healthy recipe that kids can help you make to put some sunshine back into their long wintry month.
Easy Fruit Dip
1 large carton of Frozen Whipped Topping ( thawed) Note: store brands work just as well as name brands for this recipe.
1 large carton of Vanilla yogurt Note: again your favorite brand will work
1 small box of instant vanilla sugar-free pudding mix. Any brand tastes great and I have tried several.
Directions: Mix all the ingredients in a big bowl. Chill for 30 minutes. Serve with apple slices, grapes, celery, pineapple slices, strawberries, or any favorite fruit.
Children are a precious gift from our Lord. Consider Using the month of January to spend quality time with your kids doing activities at home during cold and icy weather. Showing kids how to have fun with simple projects that don’t cost much can be as educational as a field trip. And it might be a great time to share a small fruit tray with a neighbor who also is feeling the winter drearies. What better way to spend time together being the arms of Christ outside of the holiday?
