As I keep up with my current Bible study and plan for youth group activities over the past few days I am constantly reminded to dwell on just how awesome God is. His creative handiworks are forever before us so we have no excuse to not acknowledge him. Failure to believe in God is an act of defiance, not a lack of intellectual evidence.

I am compelled to share a video by Francis Chan that brings out so well how awesome God is and how it can affect how we pray and live.

I hope you took the time to watch the video and let it soak in. I trust you will enjoy a greater fellowship with God with this revelation.

If you have children at home, or grandchildren nearby or across the miles, how can you help them to see the awesomeness of God? When you experience a sunset together that draws you into its beauty, do you revel in it and that’s as far as it goes? Or do you share with your child/grandchild the awesomeness of the God who created the sunset. Anytime you are enjoying nature together, you are given endless opportunities to share the awesomeness of God. Every bud on every tree, every bird or butterfly that dances through the sky, every frog that croaks… all nature sings God’s praise. Join in the chorus with your child. Then share how God has impacted your life for the better.
