As I write this post tonight, I’m watching the election results and praying, as many others are tonight. I believe this election is important, possibly more than those in recent history. I believe what happens tonight will affect the lives of millions, both those who are living today and generations of children yet to come. I’m praying for God’s mercy and will for the nation. But I’m also praying that God will help me pray as fervently for the salvation of souls as I have for the direction of the country. Jesus died for every single person past, present, and future, with no discrimination or partiality, and if I want my heart to mirror His, it must break for every person who lives and dies without Him.
