If you haven’t yet peeked inside Snuggle Time Christmas Stories, now is the time!  Written for children under five, this new title- the third in the popular Snuggle Time series- is a padded cover board book containing thirteen poems that tell the story of Jesus’ birth. Beginning with Happy Birthday Jesus and ending with Thank you, God, the rhyming text and adorable illustrations by Cee Biscoe make this book a perfect Christmas gift. The first and last pages of this sweet board book are scenes around the Christmas tree, with presents, stockings, a little nativity set on the mantle, children and pets snuggled together, reading with mom, or asleep on the couch with Christmas cookies laid out for Santa. So all of the familiar Christmas fun is acknowledged. But these pages also remind that it is Jesus’ birthday and in sweet rhyme, they thank God for Christmas, and for Jesus. And in between is the story of the angel coming to Mary, the road to Bethlehem, Mary and Joseph needing a place to stay, the Star, Jesus’s birth in the stable, the animals around the manger, the shepherds in the field, and the three kings. All in adorable rhyme and just perfect for little ones. I love all of the Snuggle Time board books, with Cee Biscoe’s darling illustrations. This is a wonderful book to help teach your child about the greatest gift that came at Christmas so long ago.
