12 Days of Christmas Books Giveaway: Featuring Goodnight Manger by Laura Sassi
If you are looking for a fun Christmas-themed bedtime story that can pave the way for heartfelt conversations with your little ones about the real meaning of Christmas, GOODNIGHT MANGER is an engaging choice.
Keep reading for a chance to win a free copy in the 12 Days of Christmas Books Giveaway.
Written by Laura Sassi and illustrated by best-selling illustrator Jane Chapman, GOODNIGHT, MANGER (Zonderkidz) is a humorous bedtime story about trying to put Baby Jesus to bed in a very busy stable. It’s not a retelling. Rather it’s relatable bedtime story perfect for sparking conversations with your little ones about the real gift of Christmas – Jesus!
After reading GOODNIGHT, MANGER, I hope families will take time with their little ones to:
*Marvel that Baby Jesus was like no other baby before or after because he was fully God and fully man. That means He felt everything we do (and even cried!) and, thus, understands us on a deeply human level. Isn’t that amazing!
*Imagine what it must have been like to meet Baby Jesus. Perhaps your little ones can even pretend to cradle Him in their arms, cooing sweet things like, “Oh, isn’t he precious!”, “Don’t cry, sweet Jesus!” and “We love you.”
*Give thanks together for the sweet gift of Baby Jesus who came to earth – God in the form a human baby – to be the savior of our world.
