Archaeology supports Exodus
As my husband and I have read through the first several books of the Bible so far this year, we have also researched via YouTube and made some amazing discoveries presented by archaeologists. These discoveries have thrilled us beyond measure. No thanks to the skeptics and the liberal news media, much of this information has gone unnoticed by most – including those who should be raving over it.
Ron Wyatt, a Christian archaeologist, shook up his contemporaries
with his discoveries in the late 1970s when he identified the location of Noah’s Ark. Of course there were, and always will be, the skeptics who refuse to give Wyatt credibility based on his approach to locating the Ark. He was discounted as an amateur in spite of the unmistakable and overwhelming evidence that supported his claim.
Undaunted, and energized with these first discoveries, Wyatt studied the details of the Exodus account diligently. He compared the text with the geographical layout of the land around Egypt, across the Sinai Peninsula, and into Saudi Arabia hoping to establish the route Moses and the Israelites took as they left Egypt and crossed the Red Sea.
Ron Wyatt’s findings didn’t agree with the traditional site that was formerly accepted as Mount Sinai, in spite of the fact that there was no evidence that the Israelites had ever camped there. The skeptics loved to point that fact out as evidence that the Exodus never really happened, and they chose to reduce the account to an exaggerated myth.
BUT! There is so much more to the story when you find the actual route the Israelites followed. The narrow waddie between the mountains leading up to the large beach at the crossing where the Israelites were trapped between the sea, the mountains, and the Egyptian army. And on the bottom of the sea, they found wheels and chariot parts along with human and horse bones, all embedded in coral.
Then on the Saudi Arabia side they found the blackened mountain peak of Mount Sinai along with the rock God split when Moses struck it to give the Israelites water, and the unmistakable evidence of water erosion below the rock. Wyatt also found the site where the golden calf once stood, Moses’ altar where the Israelites made their sacrifices, and so much more. Watch the short video below for a brief overview. If you like what you see, then search YouTube for more videos about Ron Wyatt. Don’t overlook his findings about the ark of the covenant and more. His family created a website for his discoveries at www.ronwyatt.com
