Book Review of NOTHING by Natalee Creech
Do you want to help the children in your life grow in their understanding of God’s unconditional love? If so, you will want to look for Natalee Creech’s new book Nothing, illustrated by Joseph Cowman and published by WorthyKids, an imprint of Hachette Book Group. Page by beautiful page, this picture book powerfully illustrates the truth of Romans 8:38-39… nothing can separate us from the love of God. Natalee’s rhyme is paired perfectly with each illustration. The delightful pictures depict tangible things that children can understand. For example, a hot air balloon and canyon show just how high and deep God’s love is. Riding a train all night and taking an overseas flight demonstrate how long God’s love is. The illustrator even depicts his own story of a little girl who runs her bike over the neighbor’s flowers. In the end, she is loved and forgiven, a child of the king! This book is perfect for cuddling up together and celebrating the fact that we are fully and completely loved by God.
