In addition to the endearing story and discussion questions, the book includes a crossword puzzle, word search puzzle, and ideas for making Bible quilts.
The story on its own is very strong, but the illustrations by Violet V. Vandor are stunning and add a dimension that is breathtaking. I especially love how the Bible characters are realistic rather than cartoon-like. The artist beautifully captures emotion and action as the story moves forward.
Baby Jesus . . . Messiah! is a great addition to every home, church, and Christian school library. I highly recommend this book and give it five stars!
