CCA Summer Reading Challenge for Christian Kids and Homeschooling Families
This summer join our exciting CCA SUMMER READING CHALLENGE for Christian Kids and Homeschooling Families.
This engaging reading adventure features books by our very own Christian Children’s Authors blogging group! Whether fiction or nonfiction, for the general market or the Christian market, each of these books is written with a biblical worldview with content you can trust.
This summer encourage your kids to read while growing in their faith and building up a strong biblical worldview on a variety of exciting topics!
GUIDELINES FOR THE CCA SUMMER READING CHALLENGE
There are 3 levels of the CCA SUMMER READING CHALLENGE: PreK through 1st grade, elementary age, and tweens and teens. For each book your children read, they earn a coupon they can exchange for prizes such as a popcorn party or a family bike ride. They track their progress on our free printable game board. When they’re done reading through their books, they win 5 bonus coupons plus a blue ribbon to display on the fridge or on their bedroom door! The coupons, game board, and blue ribbon are all free printables you can download here:
TIPS TO READ QUALITY CHRISTIAN LITERATURE ON A BUDGET
Of course, it’s a wonderful opportunity for you to support your favorite Christian authors by investing in our books and purchasing a faith-building library for your own home. But we understand how it is to work on a budget, so here are some tips for economical ways for your kids to join in this exciting adventure:
Order these books in from your local library. If they don’t carry certain titles, request your library to purchase these books so you can borrow them. Or prayerfully consider purchasing these titles and donating them to your library after your kids read them. What a great ministry to help spread books with a biblical worldview to your community! Also check out WorldCat to find a library near you that carries these titles.
Ask your church library to carry these titles for you to borrow.
Join together with other families or your homeschooling co-op to split the cost and share the books!
ALL TITLES ARE AVAILABLE ONLINE at Amazon, your favorite online store, or as noted below. Also, most can be ordered in at your favorite local indie or church bookstore. Look for more books you can trust by our authors:
