Bible Verse Word Puzzles, Vol. 11: Matthew-John
This week, we begin traveling through the New Testament with our Scripture memorization activities for kids. The hardest part of today’s unit was choosing which verses to include! How do you look at the entirety of the Gospels and pick just four passages when John himself said that if everything was written that Jesus did, “I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written” (John 21:25).
These word searches, crossword puzzles, handwriting practice pages, word decoding activities, and more for these key verses are fun ways your children or students can review the verses and commit them to heart. All quotations are from the King James Version of Scripture. The following verses are included:
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
“For even the Son of Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45
“For the Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10
“Jesus saith unto him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.’” John 14:6
