Hand Lettered Devotional Cards for Moms
My daughter, Teri McKinley, is an author and she is friends with some very creative mamas. She, along with Mary K Tiller and graphic designer, Jill Davis, are the creators of beautiful hand-lettered devotional cards for moms.
As busy moms themselves, they know the challenge of finding time to spend meditating on Scripture and reading Bible-based, encouraging devotionals that are targeted toward mothers of young children. The three of them created a devotional card collection called New Mercies for Moms, based on Lamentations 3:22-23.
Each 5×7 inch card is made of heavy cardstock and sits on a wooden easel, allowing you to rotate to a new card each week for 26 weeks of encouragement. Each 26 card set is enclosed in a custom bag with the New Mercies for Moms logo on it. This makes it easy to keep all the cards together and is the perfect vessel for giving the cards as a gift.
The front of each card features a hand-lettered Bible verse. On the back is a heart-felt, mama-focused devotional inspired by the featured verse. Related Scriptures and questions are included to encourage further study and meditation.
The topics touched on in this set include: overcoming fear, finding rest and peace, imitating Christ, and experiencing God’s faithfulness in motherhood, plus so much more!
This set of cards makes the perfect gift for a new mom (who deserves a gift as much as the baby does!).
