Grandma, Granddad, We Want to Praise God

Book three in the series, Families Growing in Faith by Vanessa Fortenberry, is one I especially love since it shows the interaction between grandparents and grandchildren. As a grandmother of eight (soon to be nine), I use every opportunity I can to talk about God with my kiddos to help them grow in their faith and their understanding of God.
I asked Vaneesa to share about her ideas and vision for her series. Here is what she said:
My grandson inspired me to write my first book, Mama, I Want to See God, when he actually said to his mother, “Mama, I want to see God.” Thereafter, I decided I didn’t want a standalone, but rather a series. I created the series, Families Growing in Faith; with the books, Mama, I Want to See God, Daddy, I Want to Know God, and Grandma, Granddad, We Want to Praise God.
I would like families and their children to know that God is worthy of our love and praise, and that praising God brings us joy, and shows our gratitude to a God who loves us in return. Children naturally possess curiosity about God and in their growing discovery, I’d like them to know that they can express praise through the good and the bad; anywhere or anytime; and with singing, dancing, shouting, and clapping. I believe that my book, Grandma, Granddad will empower children and adults in fostering habits of praise and thankfulness.
The paperback picture books are designed for children 4-8 and can be used as a resource for parents, grandparents, teachers, and childcare workers. Grandma, Granddad, We Want to Praise God is available at: Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Indie Bound, Apple, Kobo, or one’s favorite book retailer.

Hi Sharon. Thanks so much for your comment. You are so correct, in that I have received many comments from adults indicating that this book motivated them to remain grateful and express gratitude to God, no matter the circumstance.
Thank you, Sharon. We all need encouragement and reminders to praise God.
