New Picture Books Kids Will Love
It’s nice to find a small business who cares about reaching others for Christ. And that’s just what I’ve discovered at End Game Press, founded by award-winning writer and speaker Victoria Duerstock. Not only that, but since its launch, End Game has snagged a truckload of awards for excellence in Christian fiction and non-fiction books. Because of that, I decided to highlight some of their recent and upcoming releases geared for children.
The Compassion Storybook Bible by Crystal Bowman and Sue Schlesman
This heart-warming book highlights stories of compassion from the Bible. With kid-friendly text and illustrations, readers will experience some of the most beloved Bible stories of all time. So snuggle up and dive in!
A Gingerbread House by Julie Lavender
With the holidays fast approaching, what could be more delightful than a book about building a gingerbread house? This rhyming picture book also has a mystery—something is missing from this tasty creation. Readers will engage all their senses while they gobble up this new release.
Moo, Moo, Nap, Nap by Sarah Philpott
This rhyming picture book focuses on sleepy farm animals, but reminds readers that God designed all of us to need rest. The kid-friendly illustrations will delight young children everywhere!
Where I Belong by Staci Holland Pealock
It’s hard for a child trying to find a permanent home for their heart. But when Sandy discovers Jesus, she finds a place of safety and acceptance. She finds a place where she belongs. Don’t miss this heart-tugging story, perfect for those searching for assurance that they are loved.
The Dachshund Dash by Michelle Medlock Adams
In the words of Crystal Bowman, one of our CCA bloggers, “Children will fall in love with Crosby the Dachshund as he tries to make friends in a big new town. As Crosby experiences both true friendship and bullying, valuable lessons emerge teaching children that they can show kindness even to those who are hard to like.” This book is especially appealing to dog lovers.
I hope you’ll check out these new picture book offerings. With top-notch writing and high-quality illustrations, children are bound to ask for these stories time and time again.
