Mike Berenstain and the late Jan Berenstain, have created a wonderful Storybook Bible for young children ages 4-7. This captivating book has 23 Old and New Testament Bible stories that come to life with vibrant and colorful pictures such as:
Jonah and the Great Fish – Jonah 1. This story will help children to learn and understand to obey God even when they are afraid.
The Story of Moses – Exodus 1. God used a simple man to do amazing things for God! Moses also obeyed God.
Noah’s Ark – Genesis 6. Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. He walked faithfully with God. Noah also obeyed God even when all his friends were laughing at him and thought he was crazy for building a boat.
Daniel in the Lion’s Den – Daniel 6. Daniel showed great courage and strength along with faith, knowing that God would protect him from the lions.
Every Bible story in this book is a teachable moment with your child. Teaching them to have great faith in God and to obey Him. These are just a few of the stories that are in this simple, yet delightful book.
In the Berenstain Bear fashion…the cubs are imagining that all the characters in the stories were bears, just like them!
I know that every time I read a Berenstain Bears book with my son, Caleb, we feel that we have learned something. Maybe it was a life lesson on how to be thankful. Or the true meaning of Easter. Or the Golden Rule. Whatever the book…we are left feeling encouraged and inspired. I love ALL of the Berenstain Bears books!
I highly recommend The Berenstain Bears Storybook Bible to all young readers.
This is my own honest opinion and I received no monetary compensation of any kind for my review.

A great review, Melissa. I’m a Berenstain Bears fan, too. I love that the young bears always are respectful to their parents even if they don’t agree or understand why they set certain boundaries. I think my favorite is “The Bike Lesson.” Thanks for a great review. I’m reposting it on my FB and Pinterest pages.
Aw…thank you, Linda!
Have a blessed day ~

I loved the Berenstain Bears growing up. My kids are too old for this now, but perhaps a grandchildren will come along one day. 🙂
