Matthew 5:16 – In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
The Littlest Lamppost has a wonderful message to bring to children. God does not make mistakes! We all have a special purpose in this life, but sometimes it can be hard to figure out. With God’s help we can all learn what our purpose is.
The Littlest Lamppost stood 16 feet tall while all the other lampposts were 32, 28, or 24 feet tall. The bigger lampposts kept making fun of the littlest lamppost telling him he was too little to have an important job, and that made the littlest lamppost very sad. An older, wiser lamppost saw the little lamppost lying on the ground and gave him a very kind smile. He proceeded to tell the little lamppost that the creator designed him for a very special purpose, and to never give up until he found that purpose.
If you live in Cleveland, Ohio you may have seen this little lamppost doing exactly what he was designed to do!

This looks like a cute book. I think I saw it or at least heard of it before. What does it have to do with Ohio?
