One of my favorite hymns is ‘All Things Bright and Beautiful‘ written by Cecil Frances Humphreys. The chorus that we all are familiar with goes like this – All things bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small, All things wise and wonderful, The Lord God made them all. This is where you can read the rest of the lyrics – Hymn
The bear cubs are always learning new and exciting things with their Sunday school teacher, Missus Ursula. In this delightful book the bears are going to go on a nature walk. The bears come across several little animals enjoying the lovely day that God has made. The cubs are smelling flowers, listening to the birds sing, and watching the butterflies sore through the sky. Missus Ursula sings the entire song to the cubs as they journey along, exploring all of God’s wonderful creation.
There are 16 stickers in the book as well.
My son, Caleb and I love this book! We also enjoy taking nature walks together. We love talking about all of the beauty that we see around us, and that God made these things for our enjoyment.
Here are some things that Caleb and I do while on our walks together – We enjoy smelling flowers on our walk. We talk about the lovely colored leaves on the trees when Autumn has arrived. We listen closely to the birds that are singing sweet songs of praise. We love to watch the squirrels running around gathering their food to eat. We also love it when we see a butterfly flying by; it brings a smile to our face. What are some things that you enjoy doing with your child/children on your nature walk? I’d love to hear about it.
Blessings,

Creation IS a wonderful avenue for talking to little ones about the Creator. Thanks for this review, Melissa.
Thank you for this lovely review!
I love your reminder to enjoy the simple things in life and all the beautiful things God has created for us. When my kids were young and we went for walks, we would sometimes bring a bag along for some of the “treasures” we would find–like stones or small sticks or leaves. Then, when we returned home, we would make a collage with our treasures.
Congratulations on having one of the most sophisticated blogs Ive arrive across in some time! Its just incredible how very much you can take away from anything simply because of how visually beautiful it is. Youve put with each other a fantastic weblog space
Thank you!
Blessings,
Melissa ~
