Sweet Tweets ~
Psalm 104:12 – The birds of the air nest by the waters; they sing among the branches.
My son, Caleb and I love to watch the birds frolicking in the sunshine. We sit on our back patio and watch as they fly in for a landing to eat out of our bird feeder. It brings joy to our hearts and a smile to our face knowing that they are fed and happy!
Sometimes we see the birds hopping around in our yard, pecking at the ground to find a worm. I find it amazing how God designed them. They know exactly what they need to do to take care of themselves and their babies. God is so AMAZING!
Caleb and I love to make treats for the birds and we thought we would share one with you.
Recipe – Grab a carrot or 1 celery stalk and cover it evenly with crunchy or smooth peanut butter. Roll it in bird seed. Add some fruit or veggies too! Yum!
Blessings and enjoy ~

Melissa, they are wonderful little creatures, aren’t they! And sometimes not so little. My mom loved to bird watch and tried to get me interested in it, but it didn’t “take” until she was getting ready to head for heaven two years ago. I started with a hummingbird feeder to honor her, because she LOVED her hummingbirds!
Now I’ve got an entire convention in the backyard all the time–birds, squirrels, rabbits, and sometimes deer! It does amaze me how hard they work to find food and how they know exactly what to do for their little ones!
Thank you Diane for sharing this story with me.
We get to watch the birds, squirrels, & chipmunks in our backyard. I keep looking for my hummingbird, though? We just absolutely LOVE all of these little critters!
Blessings,
Melissa ~
