This is a three-book collection for young children.
First book – Discover God’s Creation. Second book – Do Their Best. Third book – Learn to share.
Discover God’s Creation, is teaching Brother Bear and Sister Bear that there is more to this life than watching TV. Mama Bear encourages her cubs to go outside and see the wonder of God’s creation. The cubs were surprised to see all kind of beautiful things like…the blue sky, trees, birds and bees. They were enjoying the warmth of the sun and a playground to play on. The moon was a sign for the cubs to go home soon.
Do Their Best – There is a kite contest the cubs want to be in, but they have no kite. Papa Bear told the cubs that he would make them one. Big and red, it was made with love. A long white tail helped Big Red to sail. They arrived to the contest with Big Red in hand, and saw all kinds of fancy kites soaring instead. Unkind things were being said of their homemade kite – Too plain, too heavy, too red! Papa told the cubs to have faith! Be tough! Never give up! The wind grew stronger and Big Red started flying higher. The other kites were not strong enough to last. They were broken and torn. The cubs had faith in God and in their Papa’s skill. Big Red won!
Learn to Share – Sister Bear is all about playing by herself. Her red truck and yellow duck she takes on a ride, and says to herself… Mine! Mine! Mine! Sister Bear begins to wonder if she is being kind or should she share with Brother? She is realizing that it is fun to share her toys with others, like – Millie, Mike and Nat. Jesus would love that! A fight breaks out during a baseball game, sending friends home to think and pray. We need to show God’s care and love by sharing our things with the one’s we love.
Hebrews 13:16 – And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
I love this book and read it to my son, Caleb.
This is my own personal opinion and I received no monetary compensation for my review.
