Children’s books: Life Lessons in a Colorful Package!
Parents, as little as 10 minutes of individual undivided time with your child will help this child grow up feeling loved and accepted. Parents might think or feel that there is not enough time in a day to give attention. There is no time to play endless games, no time to watch the children’s favorite tv show with them, no time to go to the park.
I hope it is encouraging to know that 10 minutes can be turned into quality time. Ten minutes can promote bonding, establish trust, reduce bad behavior, and can even stop whining!
Reading books can be a simple activity for those 10 minutes! Books have real-world situations in age-appropriate ways. In good books, you find funny noises, laugh “the silly laugh,” and jump around mimicking book characters while teaching life lessons.
In my books, I use the reality of the Bible to point to Christ. Each and every story I write is aimed to help the child build trust in the Creator. The story shows the child how Christ died for us and our sins and how we can have a close relationship with him.
If you are struggling raising kids, spend those 10 minutes. And on this blog, you will find many fun kids’ books written to help you tell THE STORY.
Check out, “The Tales of the Bible” series. Four hard-cover books colorful funny stories, straight from the Bible in a modern jacket. They will help you fill those 10 minutes and help your child feel secure in her parents and in God.
God bless you as you strive to raise God-loving children.

Yes! It is so important to spend a little undivided time with you child each day. Reading a book with them is a delightful and relaxing way to do this, fun for both parent and child. And choosing the right books will also help point them to Jesus.
What wonderful resources you have created here! Thanks so much for your encouragement and pointing to Christ!
Yes! I’ve always called it ‘using the little minutes’ and my six children benefited from even small pockets of undivided attention sprinkled throughout the day. God can use our little fragments for His glory! 🙂
