Studying the Life of Abraham
The Bible is full of amazing, interesting, and very real men and women whose lives continue to teach us a lot today. In the past, I’ve shared a lot of resources for young students. Today, I’d like to start what I hope will be a long and helpful series of resources for students that are little bit older, around 11-13 or older teenagers. We’re going to take a closer look at many men and women of the Bible and learn as much as we can about them. Our first study looks at the life of Abraham.
Since there is so much in the Bible about Abraham, we’re going to divide our study into two sets of worksheets. First, we’ll look at the parts of Abraham’s story found in Genesis 11-13 and 15-16.
Students can choose key verses from the passages to memorize, complete a family tree of Abraham back to Shem, answer questions based on the chapters they’ve read, explore a map of Israel and the surrounding area from the time of Abraham, summarize what they’ve read, and complete a word search for fun.
I hope the kids in your life enjoy the worksheets! Let me know in the comments who’d they’d like to study in the months to come!
