“Is my child too young to learn about finances?” I get a chuckle out of that question because the state of our country is trillions of dollars in debt. The way I learned about finances was out of college when the credit card companies threw plastic at me to get into debt and to pay for my financed education! Just writing this, I am hand to forehead about how crazy that is.

It is the parent’s responsibility to train their children in proper money management. You cannot depend on the school system or the government to do this.

So, what do you do if you don’t know where or how to start training your child in finance?

I love it when I hear back from adults who have read the books that they actually learned something too; the way I prefer to chuckle, as the books really are meant for the parents!
