Summer Books to Read and Enjoy
School’s out and summer is here! Though you’ll want to find lots and lots of outside playtime during the days and weeks of summer, make sure to find time to read to your kids.
Get creative with picture book story time. Read on the front porch with a cool slice of watermelon for a snack. Picnic on a blanket in the back yard and read aloud. Drink a glass of lemonade while sharing story time on the den floor. Read under the sheets just before bedtime.
Read. Read. Read. Make treasured memories to last a lifetime with books about summer to warm your heart. Enjoy some of these fun, seasonal titles with the kiddos over the summer.
