This month I would like to share a delightful, heart-warming, children’s book by Lysa TerKeurst. This beautifully illustrated book features two characters: Little Seed, who doesn’t like change, and Little Fox, who is afraid of dark shadows. They become the best of friends one stormy night when Little Fox is forced from his cozy den, finding himself in the cozy shed that Little Seed calls home.

They have a lot of fun together until one day the Farmer, who was good and kind, plants Little Seed in the ground. Little Seed was sad and afraid, and Little Fox looked everywhere for his friend. He discovers the place where the Farmer planted him and stays close by. After a very long time, Little Seed sprouted and eventually grew into a beautiful tree. Little Fox enjoyed playing and resting in the shade of Little Seed.

They were going through a time of change and were afraid, but they learned through it all that the Farmer was good and kind, and was always watching over them.

The message throughout this story is that God is good and kind, and we can trust Him to take care of us in the good times and the difficult times . It reminds us that we don’t need to fear, because He is with us always and He has a wonderful plan, even when we can’t see it. And in the end, it really will be okay.

It Will be Okay is recommended for children struggling through change and grief. I believe it is an excellent book for all children during the sometimes scary and uncertain times we are living in.
