A Christmas Poem
God sent His only Son to Earth
in human form, a lowly birth.
With birds and cattle by His side,
the Son of God could bear no pride.
As a man he healed and taught,
and many found the truth they sought.
His miracles let people see
that God gave Him authority.
But some of them did not believe
He was the One they must receive.
With criminals on either side,
He hung upon a cross and died.
But then he rose up from the dead
to save us all, just as he said.
He came to show us God’s great love,
and now he reigns in heaven above.
I believe He died for me,
that I might live eternally.
