The First Christmas Gift

Long before there were twinkling lights, stockings, or candy canes, there was a quiet night in Bethlehem. A tiny baby was born in a stable, wrapped in simple cloths, and laid gently in a manger. He didn’t come with ribbons, sparkles, or a big bow. He came with love.
- The kind of love that never runs out.
- The kind of love that doesn’t break or fade or get lost under the couch.
- The kind of love that changes everything.
Jesus is God’s gift to us—His way of saying, “I am with you. I love you. You matter to Me.”
On that first Christmas night, a bright star lit up the sky. Shepherds hurried to see the newborn King. Angels sang with joy. The whole world seemed to whisper, “Hope is here.”
And guess what?
That same hope is still here today.
- Every time you show kindness…
- Every time you forgive someone…
- Every time you pray…
- Every time you choose love…
You are shining that same light into the world.
Today, as you open presents and laugh with your family, remember that you have something special to give as well.
- You can give a smile to someone who needs one.
- You can give a hug that makes someone feel safe.
- You can give a prayer for someone who is hurting.
- You can give love—just like Jesus gave to us.
Those gifts are more precious than anything wrapped in paper.
