Easter will be here very soon! Here are five reasons to add books to your child’s Easter basket.
- Books last longer and can be enjoyed over and over.
- Sharing a book together creates a bond between you and your child.
- When children receive books as gifts, they connect them with the idea that books are a treat (vs. boring).
- If you choose the right book, you can plant a seed of truth in your child’s heart.
- Reading together is a sweet treat! (Without so much sugar).

Books are the best gifts! Growing up, we could always expect to have an arch book in our Easter baskets— rhyming stories from the Bible. We loved reading those. More recently, for my own birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, I love asking for books, especially picture books. 😍😍
I love receiving picture books for gifts, too! Thanks for commenting!
