12 Days of Christmas Books: Featuring Mouse’s Christmas Gift by Mindy Baker
When Parson is sick and the usual Christmas Eve Service is cancelled, Mouse must find a way to signal the villagers and bring Christmas spirit to his little town. Mouse never gives up hope as he prepares the nativity set and lights a candle in the window of the church, resulting in a chain reaction in the village that leads the community to celebrate Christmas together. Keep reading for a chance to win a free copy of Mouse’s Christmas Gift in the 12 Days of Christmas Books Giveaway.
Mouse’s Christmas Gift points readers to the birth of Christ as the ultimate reason to celebrate Christmas, and it vividly portrays how even the tiniest creature can make a big difference.
I am also happy to offer a teaching guide/activity packet as a FREE DOWNLOAD. The material is intended for ministry to children ages Pre-K to 3rd grade. It is adaptable for Sunday School lessons, Children’s Church lessons, Christian School lessons, Home School lessons, family devotions, or one-on-one time with a child. It includes lessons, application worksheets, and craft ideas.
Here is the link to the guide:
I would love for you to consider using Mouse’s Christmas Gift as a special reading for children in a church service on Christmas Eve, or as you gather your family together on Christmas Eve for a special reading time. Reading together is such a wonderful tradition–and if you are like me–you will want to read together while sipping hot cocoa with marshmallows. Thank you in advance for entering, and I wish you a very wonderful Christmas!

Thanks for the kind words and for passing on the info to ministry leaders. I really pray the message of Mouse’s Christmas Gift shines to as many children as possible!
I’d love to win “Mouse’s Christmas Gift” because my Christmas themed book is also a mouse — Mouse in the Manger”. Kids like the idea of such a tiny creature as a mouse making an impact with the story of Christmas.
I will have to look for your book, Robert. Thanks for entering!
Looks like a wonderful book!
Thanks, Emily! Good luck in the drawing!

I’m glad you entered, Sonja! Good luck in the drawing!
I added a post about the book to Twitter! Your character looks like he’d be good friends with my mouse, Timley, who is a great horned owl’s sidekick in my children’s novels, Sophie’s Quest and Sophie Topfeather, Superstar!
Great! That will give you an extra entry. I appreciate all the shares and tweets as I am trying my best to get the word out about Mouse. Your books look beautiful. I will have to find a snatch of time and read them! Thanks again, Sonja!
This looks delightful and I love the theme of the story. I will look for it regardless if I win…but I hope I do! Thanks for sharing.
(I included a link to Children’s Christian Authors and the 12 Days of Christmas Books on my latest blog entry. I understand that is not the same as sharing on Facebook or Twitter, but I just wanted to let you know.)
