Exciting News!

I’m excited to share about my two newest books, Bedtime with Mommy and its sequel Bedtime with Daddy. (End Game Press) These board books for babies are perfect for building a foundation of faith in your little ones.

All around the world, it’s bedtime! In these two books, Mommies and Daddies are tucking little ones into bed. From polar bears in the arctic to lions on the grasslands, it’s time for snuggles, prayers, a Bible verse, and singing songs of worship together as they say goodnight!

January is Sanctity of Human Life month. Even though every day is a great day to teach our children the sacred value of each person on the planet at all ages and stages of life, this month is a great time to focus our thoughts, prayers, and efforts to be intentional about it.

I’m so grateful to share that my home church celebrates Sanctity of Human Life month and January 22 as the National Sanctity of Human Life Day in 2023. We also have wonderful ministries here that support mothers (and fathers) in their time of crisis to help them choose life as an important part of the answer to their difficult situation. We support Love Life ministries and have a network of volunteers who help.

A Blessing!

One of the blessings of writing these books, Bedtime with Mommy and Bedtime with Daddy, is the fact that the leaders at our church purchased batches of both books to use in their ministry. Some of the ways we discussed using them is:

Gift them to young moms who choose life for their baby. These books are great gifts at baby showers and one-year birthday celebrations.

Hand Bedtime with Mommy out to mothers who are considering their options. Volunteers at abortion centers can give these books to moms who stop to talk with them. If a couple stops, both books can be handed out. My prayer is that the Holy Spirit will tug at their heartstrings when they look at the pages of these books to connect with their unborn child as a valuable and precious person.

Mentor young moms and dads who decide to raise their baby. Read these books together with the parent(s) and talk about how they can read them to their little one and build a foundation of faith in the life of their child from the earliest ages on up.

Shine Your Light!

Do you want to help make a difference in our world today? Here are ways you can celebrate this month and help shine the light of Christ into hearts that are struggling to find hope.

Read Psalm 139 together with your children. It’s a great teaching tool to show us how much God values each life from the innocent unborn to the elderly and everyone in between.

If your church has a bookstore, ask them to carry Bedtime with Mommy and Bedtime with Daddy.

If your church has a ministry for choosing life, encourage them to get copies of Bedtime with Mommy and Bedtime with Daddy to gift to parents in crisis.
