Ten Little Lambs
A Countdown Journey to Find the Good Shepherd
by Rachelle Britt

With Easter just two weeks away, it’s time to start working on those Easter baskets. One sweet addition to your children’s baskets this year is a cute little book written and illustrated by Rachelle Britt. Written in rhyme, Ten Little Lambs introduces Jesus as the Good Shepherd watching over His flock of ten lambs. As they play and frolic together, one by one with the turn of the page, a lamb leaves the flock to join the Good Shepherd. The story leads to Easter as the now,
5 little lambs watched the sunrise,
A stone rolled away brought a joyful surprise!
One little lamb was amazed by the sight,
And set off to find the Shepherd on a path so bright.
The story continues as each little lamb finds their way to the Good Shepherd.
All little lambs, safe and sound,
The Shepherd’s love forever abounds.
There is a scripture reference on each page blended into the illustration that connects to the story. The text for these verses is included in the following page. The 23 Psalm, the Lord is my Shepherd, closes out this precious book.
We are eternally grateful for the Good Shepherd who loves us, protects us,
gave His life for us and rose again so we can live with Him forever.
